This competent person fall protection course is designed and intended for managers with safety and health responsibilities and for employee safety awareness. Attendees will learn how to recognize OSHA fall hazards on the job site and understand what OSHA regulations apply to the work they perform.

Instructors for this OSHA 10 hour construction course are authorized OSHA outreach trainers with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction field. This course will cover the following topics.

• OSHA 1926.501 & 502 - Subpart M
• Guardrail Erection
• Personal Fall Arrest Systems
• Safety Net Systems
• Alternative Fall Protection
• Fall Protection for Formwork
• Fall Protection for Residential
• Fall Protection for Steel Erection
• Fall Protection for Roofing
• Warning Lines / CAZ
• Fall Protection Equipment
• Horizontal Lifelines

Participants will receive a course completion certification card from OSHA's Outreach Training Institute.

Take 75/85 North to route 400 North
Take 400 North to Exit 11 (Windward Pkwy)
Turn right on Windward Pkwy to Alderman Drive
Turn left on Alderman Drive to 1121 Alderman Drive
Turn right at 1121 and the Training Center is on the left
